Permanencia 2021

Is a piece inspired by a poem by Guillermo Crespo Galiana, embodying mystery, fragility, chance, and balance. It brings together two contrasting materials—glass and metal—and combines different-sized elements into a single piece. This work merges the delicacy of glass with the tempered strength of metal to create a unique lighting fixture. The project was completed during a 2-week course titled "Poetics of Objects," led by Manuel Bañó Granell.

THE MATERIAL HISTORY OF WATER

The 5-day workshop by Simón Ballen explores the past, present, and future of water within a Mexican context.
